IP Lab maintains one of the world's largest Copyright Depositories. It holds thousands of pieces of work on behalf of Copyright owners throughout the world. Copyright owners send IP Lab copies of their work and these are then kept on their behalf and a certificate is issued to prove that the work has been received and the date it was received by IP Lab. In the event that the work is used without the owner's permission, they have an easy mechanism to prove that the work exists and when it was received by IP Lab. If necessary, IP Lab can be called upon to verify that they are holding the work and when it was received.
