This depends on the type of work involved. In the case of musical composition this is the life of the composer plus 70 years. In the case of musical performance this is currently 50 years. Work is deposited with IP Lab for periods of 5 years at a time. At the end of this period, the deposit can be renewed by paying the renewal fees.
